Sunday 23rd June 2019

The Classic & Sports Show in Association with Flywheel

This event takes place at what is now called Bicester Heritage which is the old RAF WWII bomber airfield just to the north of Bicester. As well as an operational airfield, there are now over thirty businesses serving all aspects of classic car ownership which has resulted in the site being called the UK’s only hub for historic motoring excellence.

The various events that take place during the day are motorsport demonstrations, air displays, historic vehicle displays, a live music tent and a hanger completely given over to a Brightwell’s classic car auction. All the businesses that are based on the site are open for the public to wander around.
Almost 40 classic car clubs attended last year, and we hope to join them for what will be a very entertaining day out.

Last year’s show website -  -  This year’s website is not up and running yet.

The intention is to rendezvous at a point close to the A40 and then travel in convoy cross-country to Bicester so that we arrive at roughly 09:30 – 10:00. We will aim to leave around 16:00 – 17:00 and then plan to stop off for a meal on the return trip somewhere around Burford.
There are eight cars signed up and more would be very welcome.

If you are interested in coming, please let me know. There is no commitment at this stage.
